The founding meeting of the Rio Grande Valley American Civil Liberties Union chapter. ACLU chapters are volunteer-led ACLU branches to the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas that address civil rights and civil liberties issues affecting local communities, represent the ACLU in local matters, and maintain an ACLU presence in communities across the state.
